Gamecocks will be alot faster on the basepaths this season with English,Costen,Pankake, Schrock and a couple of football players that will be on the team(Christian and possibly Carson..both of whom were drafted out of high school) On a side Ripken may be a long shot to make the roster this season. Pitching will be stellar again with Holmes and Monty taking over the FRi/Sat spots and a host of others vying for the Sunday spot(Belcher,Beal,Koumas, Jack Wynkoop(freshman) and Seddon. Pitching will not be a concern this season.
